The best beaches on the north coast

Cala Banyalbufar 

Our adventure begins in Banyalbufar, a small and beautiful village situated at the foot of the Sierra. Descending from the village through a picturesque environment full of vineyards, you reach the beautiful cove of Banyalbufar. This cove was an old refuge for local fishermen and the "alcobas" (boat shelters) with their "llaüts" (traditional Mallorcan boats) are still preserved. The waters are crystal clear, perfect for snorkelling. 

Cala Deià 

This cove is located in an idyllic setting in the picturesque village of Deià. Many artists and celebrities choose to spend their summer holidays or even live here permanently. The cove is a very famous destination, not only for the beauty of its surroundings but also for the renowned restaurant: Ca's Patró March, which serves fresh fish and seafood of the day.

Cala Tuent 

Now it is time to enter the wildest, most natural and authentic part of the Sierra, protected by the mountains and cliffs we find Cala Tuent. It is a cove located between "Sa Costera" and "Sa Calobra", although it is in a unique and privileged environment, its access is not difficult, there is a good road to get there and parking in the area. This medium-sized cove is located at the foot of the highest mountain in Mallorca "Es Puig Major" and has been the setting for numerous short films, movies and series.

Sa Calobra and torrent de Pareis

Sa Calobra and Torrent de Pareis are one of the main tourist destinations in Mallorca. The cove can be reached either by the winding and spectacular road, or by taking a boat trip from Puerto de Soller. The cove consists of the mouth of the torrent de Pareis, which makes its surroundings even more unique. This cove is ideal for diving and enjoying its seabed with Mediterranean posidonea.

Cala Sant Vicens

In our last recommendation of the list, Cala Sant Vicens could not be missing. This time we are at the northernmost point of Mallorca: Cape Formentor.

The beach is located in a residential area near Puerto de Pollença. Here we can enjoy one of the most beautiful landscapes on the island, between the Sierra de Cornaveques and the Serra del Cavall Bernat. In this privileged environment we find 4 small coves with crystal clear waters: Cala Clara, Cala Barques, Cala Molins and Cala Carbó.
